No room for Kansas State to operate

Sunflower State opponents have had rough nights against what's become arguably the best defense in the Big 12.

Texas shut out Kansas earlier this season.

Through a quarter and a half tonight, the Wildcats have 13 yards of offense on 21 plays against the Longhorns.

Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein hasn't been able to make plays with his arm (hey, check that out) against a good secondary, and the offense has been suffocated by the Longhorns athleticism. Klein is 1-of-7 for minus-3 yards passing.

Kansas State's found ways to gut out games like this all year, but Texas is better than Miami or Eastern Kentucky. At some point, the offense has to break through.

If not, the Longhorns are taking home that battle of top-25 teams.
