COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Isn't this supposed to be Thanksgiving? This holiday is a little bit warmer in Texas.
Feels a bit like ... SEC country?
Surely Texas A&M and Texas are thankful for a gorgeous sendoff to their century-long rivalry. You couldn't ask for a more gorgeous night at hallowed Kyle Field.
With the sun setting behind the stadium, it's a perfect 70 degrees with a little wind and only a few a clouds in the sky.
The Corps of Cadets is marching. The special Lone Star Showdown logo is on the field, and the team just arrived at the stadium.
We can't do this every year? Apparently not anymore.
Ending this rivalry isn't right, but they'll be sending it out in style tonight.
Lots more to come, and I'll be right here all night with the coverage from Aggieland.
Texas A&M and Texas, for the 118th and maybe the last time. We'll kick it off on ESPN at 8 p.m. EST.
