Weeden will get Senior Bowl showcase

Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden will take part in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 28.

He'll join Arizona's Nick Foles and San Diego State's Ryan Lindley as the quarterbacks on the South team.

Weeden finished the season ranked in the top five nationally in every major passing category. He was second in passing yards (4,727), third in completions per game (31.4) and fourth in touchdown passes (37).

"It’s exciting. I’m excited about the opportunity to play against some of the best players in the country," Weeden said in a release. "It’s a huge honor to get an invite and it’s a good quarterback class."

ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. ranks Weeden as the No. 5 quarterback in this year's draft class.
