Each week, I peruse the info from our ESPN Stats and Info and the game notes from the sports information departments around the league to find you these.

Without further ado, let's get started.

Did you know ...

  • On third and fourth downs over the past two seasons, Landry Jones is completing just 49 percent of his passes, with six touchdowns and five interceptions. On first and second down, he's completed 67 percent of his passes for 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Against UTEP, Jones was 3-of-11 on third down.

  • Jones completed 7 of 18 passes last week that traveled further than five yards beyond the line of scrimmage.

  • When targeting Kenny Stills on those throws, Jones was 4-of-5 for 106 yards and a touchdown. Jones' 12,601 passing yards have him 14th on the FBS all-time list.

  • When running outside the tackles, Texas running backs averaged 8.2 yards a carry against Wyoming.

  • When running inside the tackles, Texas' Joe Bergeron averaged 8.9 yards a carry on 12 carries against Wyoming.

  • Last week, Oklahoma State scored its first 10 touchdowns against Savannah State on drives shorter than two minutes.

  • Last week, 10 of Wes Lunt's 11 completions were within five yards of the line of scrimmage.

  • On passes longer than 20 yards last season, TCU quarterback Casey Pachall threw 12 touchdown passes and two interceptions.

  • The Frogs had three 700-yard rushers last season. No other team in college football duplicated the feat.

  • Last year, Kansas State called an average of 17.6 designed runs for Collin Klein. Last week, the Wildcats ran just five designed run plays for Klein.

  • Miami threw 13 screen passes last week, completing 11. The Hurricanes ran 35 screen passes in all of 2011.

  • The Big 12 is 42-5 against every other conference since the beginning of last season. Two of those losses were by Texas A&M and Missouri.

  • Big 12 teams won by an average of 33 points last week, outscoring opponents, 437-137.

  • Oklahoma State has the longest streak in the nation for teams scoring at least 30 points. OSU's done it for 19 consecutive games, five more than any other team in the nation. Baylor and TCU have done the same for seven consecutive games, tied for the nation's fourth-longest streak. Baylor has at least 40 points in each of the last five games.

  • Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma State all had two 100-yard rushers in Week 1. That was the first time Kansas had done it since 2007. It was the second time sophomores Joe Bergeron and Malcolm Brown had done it in their young careers.

  • TCU has the nation's longest win streak, at eight games. Baylor is second, at seven games. West Virginia is tied at third, with a six-game winning streak.

  • Kansas forced 18 turnovers in 2011. Last week, it forced five, including four interceptions. That's the most for KU since 2007.

  • Iowa State played last week in front of 54,931, the biggest crowd for a home opener in school history.

  • Kansas State hasn't been shutout in 191 games, the longest streak in the Big 12 and 10th-longest in the nation.

  • Oklahoma State has outscored Arizona 73-24 in its two meetings the last two seasons.

  • TCU has won 11 games in six of the past seven seasons. No other team in the nation has duplicated that.

  • Texas Tech held Northwestern State to six points, the best defensive performance since allowing just three points to SMU in the 2006 season opener.

  • Last week, West Virginia's 69 points were the most in a season opener in school history, topping the school's 66 points scored against Richmond in 1958.
