I don't know where Aaron Turner is today, and considering his less-than-unique name, it's probably pretty difficult to find out. All I know is he's out of football.
And wherever he is, he better watch his back. Justin Blackmon is coming up on it pretty fast.
Turner holds the national record with 11 consecutive games with at least 100 yards and a touchdown as a receiver for Pacific in 1991.
Blackmon, the Oklahoma State receiver, hauled in his first touchdown catch of the day early in the fourth quarter to give him eight catches for 117 yards and a score, putting Oklahoma State up 41-14.
It also gave him 10 consecutive games with at least 100 yards and a touchdown. In fact, with eight more yards receiving, Blackmon will have at least 125 yards and a touchdown in every start this season.
That's pretty remarkable, and Blackmon will have a chance to tie Turner's record next week when Oklahoma travels to Stillwater for a game that could decide the Big 12 South.
