WR Quincy Enunwa picks Cornhuskers

Here are some recruiting nuggets provided by Tom Luginbill, the national recruiting director for ESPN's Scouts Inc., about some Big 12-related prospects.

WR Quincy Enunwa

  • Moreno Valley, Calif.

  • Rancho Verde H.S.

  • Scouts Grade: 40

Wide receiver Quincy Enunwa of Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, Calif.) has committed to Nebraska.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect chose the Huskers over an offer from Washington State. He visited Lincoln officially for the game against Texas Tech two weeks ago.

Nebraska now has 11 pledges for the Class of 2010.

DT Cassius Marsh

  • Westlake Village, Calif.

  • Oaks Christian H.S.

  • Scouts Grade: 78

  • Position Rank: 34

Highly-recruited three-star prospect Cassius Marsh (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) has committed to sign as part of LSU's Class of 2010, ESPN affiliate Web site EyeOnTheTigers.com reports.

Marsh spoke with ESPN's Greg Biggins about his decision: "In the end, I had to do what I felt was best for me and that turned out to be LSU. I'm very excited about getting out there and being part of the Tiger program."

RB Ja'Terian Douglas

  • Arlington, Texas

  • Scouts Grade: 77

  • Position Rank: 42

Running back Ja'Terian Douglas, who gained 2036 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior for Lamar (Arlington, Texas), has committed to the Golden Hurricane.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound standout picked Tulsa over Oklahoma State. Among others were Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor, SMU, UTEP and Louisiana Tech.

OLB Derek Earls

  • Waconia, Minn.

Derek Earls of North Dakota State College of Science has made a Class of 2010 decision to play for Arizona.

Originally from Waconia, Minn., he was also offered by Oklahoma State, Kansas, Iowa State, Illinois and Colorado.

CB Mike Harris

  • Miami, Fla.

  • El Camino College (CA)

El Camino College, Calif., defensive prospect Mike Harris visited Alabama for the Tennessee game, but is holding up giving the Tide a Class of 2010 commitment.

Harris told ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com: "My plan is to finish up my classes in good standing, and sign with Alabama in December, and it's up to me to get the job done. I want nothing more than to be a part of this class, and help Alabama win National Championships, but I have to take care of business first."

S Myan Tave

Myan Tave (Carson, Calif.) has not received his first written scholarship offer but updated ESPN affiliate Web site DuckTerritory.com on the current status of his recruitment.

RB Ka'Deem Carey

  • Tucson, Ariz.

  • Canyon Del Oro H.S.

  • Scouts Grade: 40

Class of 2011 running back Ka'Deem Carey (Tucson, Ariz./Canyon Del Oro) spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site DuckTerritory.com about the early stages of his recruitment.

"I got an offer from Arizona State a few days ago. ASU is my only offer but I get a good amount of mail from the Pac-10 and then schools like Colorado, Colorado State, Oklahoma, those type of schools."
