Klein among 15 Camp Award semifinalists

Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein is the lone Big 12 representative on the 15 "Players to Watch" for the Walter Camp Award, given annually to college football's best player.

The Camp Award is voted on by coaches and sports information directors and the list will be trimmed to five finalists on Nov. 28.

It's the fourth-oldest award in college football, and hasn't gone to a Big 12 player since Colt McCoy won his second consecutive Camp Award in 2009. Before that, Nebraska's Eric Crouch (2001) was the last Big 12 player to win.

Klein definitely has a great shot to win, and it'll take something dramatic for him to not make the list of finalists.
