Brohm officially lands at Florida Atlantic

Just to put a bow on the news of the day about the staff changes at Louisville, former Cardinals offensive coordinator Jeff Brohm has officially been announced as an assistant at Florida Atlantic.

Brohm will coach the quarterbacks for Howard Schnellenberger and the Owls. It's a steep drop from coordinator at a BCS school to a position coach in the Sun Belt, and most certainly a severe decrease in pay as well for Brohm. But he will be reunited with Schnellenberger, for whom he played at Louisville in the early 1990s.

Louisville is not completely Brohm-free. Greg Brohm, Jeff's older brother, will remain as the team's football operations director.
