Overtime at Louisville

Heck of a game so far at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Maikon Bonani missed a 52-yard field goal on the game's final play, and we're headed to overtime tied at 21. Bonani had drilled the field goal moments earlier, but Louisville used the old icing-the-kicker-timeout trick before the attempt. Hate the rule, but Charlie Strong used it to perfection.

The Cardinals drove in for the tying score in the final two minutes, aided by 30 yards of penalties on South Florida. Justin Burke threw his third touchdown pass, this time to Josh Bellamy, on third and goal from the 10.

Winner of this game is bowl eligible and in pretty good shape in the Big East race.
