Big East lunchtime links: More turnover at Syracuse

The Syracuse Post-Standard's Donnie Webb reports that several more Orange players have left the program, including linebacker Mike Mele, kicker Austin Wallis and linebacker Parker Cantey, all of whom either were starters or were penciled in as starters this spring.

That makes 14 players who have left since Doug Marrone has taken over, but Marrone has a policy of not talking about players who are no longer with the team.

Syracuse also released a new depth chart, which among other things has Antwon Bailey listed as the starting tailback, Greg Paulus third in line among quarterbacks, and injured defensive tackle Arthur Jones at first string.

• Jim Leavitt spoke to fans at a breakfast, and his talking points included who might start on the offensive line, Greg Auman reports in the St. Petersburg Times.

• Rutgers' new stadium capacity after expansion will be 52,454, Tom Luicci reports in The Star-Ledger. Last year's capacity was 42,500, and the stadium had been estimated to seat 54,000 during construction.
