The Doak Walker Award committee messed up big time last season by not making Donald Brown, who was only the nation's leading rusher and an eventual first-round NFL draft pick, a finalist for the honor.
West Virginia's Noel Devine is also on the list, and he could have a pretty good shot at winning the thing.
But there's another glaring Big East omission already: Louisville's Victor Anderson, a 1,000-yard rusher as a freshman last year, is nowhere to be found. Unless Louisville forgot to nominate him, there's no reason for Anderson not to be on this list.
