McCombs, Moore return for UConn

Connecticut's offense got a boost Tuesday when running back Lyle McCombs and wide receiver Isiah Moore returned from their suspensions.

McCombs had been suspended since January after a marijuana arrest, while the Hartford Courant reported that Moore failed a drug test. Moore, a senior, won't need long to reacquaint himself, but McCombs is a redshirt freshman who didn't have a playbook or access to the team facility while he was out.

McCombs might be the more needed of the two right now. UConn is very thin at the running back position this spring, with only D.J. Shoemate and Martin Hyppolite available as scholarship players at the position.
