He has thrown for the second-most touchdown passes in the nation and also ranks No. 5 in the country in passing yards per game (359.8) and seventh in total offense (352.7). West Virginia is on pace to shatter the school record for total offense, and Smith is a big reason why. The Mountaineers average 503.5 yards per game. The school record is 482.7 per game, set in 1988.
