Reports: Pitt to hire Wisconsin OC Chryst

Pittsburgh is set to hire Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst, colleague Joe Schad and several others are reporting.

Chryst would be the fourth Pitt head coach in the last 13 months and replace Todd Graham, who left last week for Arizona State after just one year on the job. He has been at Wisconsin since 2005, and reportedly surged ahead of FIU coach Mario Cristobal thanks to a strong interview and questions about whether Cristobal wanted to leave Miami.

Chryst started his coaching career at West Virginia in 1989 under Don Nehlen.
