Rutgers linebacker Khaseem Greene has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, the school announced Wednesday.
Greene, the Big East Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season, becomes the 11th Rutgers player invited to play in the prestigious game.
In 2012, Greene led Rutgers with 125 tackles and six forced fumbles, with 5.5 sacks and two interceptions.
A quick scan of the Senior Bowl roster shows USF defensive tackle Cory "Pork Chop" Grissom also has accepted an invitation.
The Senior Bowl will be played Jan. 26 at in Mobile, Ala.
In other all-star game news, Rutgers also announced that defensive tackle Scott Vallone will play in the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 19 in St. Petersburg, Fla. Vallone is the 15th Rutgers player to be featured in the game.
