Another 2014 draft board, another high ranking for Teddy Bridgewater.
Mel Kiper Jr. released his first 25-man Big Board this week for the 2014 NFL draft , and the Louisville signal-caller headlines the list of Big East players, coming in at No. 2 overall behind Jadeveon Clowney.
USF end Aaron Lynch is the only other player from the conference to crack the first 25, coming in at No. 20, but Kiper also made a list of "next 25" players, which has two more Big East players .
Like most this offseason, he is high on Rutgers receiver Brandon Coleman, who checks in at No. 27. And UConn linebacker Yawin Smallwood is at No. 45 following his 120-tackle season in 2012 for the Huskies, who could have yet another defensive player get taken high in the next draft.
Kiper also looks at prospects who were ineligible to become drafted this year, like Bridgewater, and shows how talents like them could have shaken up this past month's draft.
Bridgewater is one of seven players inserted into the 2013 draft remix , as he would have been, in the eyes of Kiper and seemingly everyone else, the top quarterback prospect last month. Kiper thinks the Jaguars would have considered the Cardinals signal-caller at No. 2, and that the Browns, Cardinals, Bills and Jets likely would have also, which would have really realigned how things ended up playing out.
