Rutgers quarterback Paul-Etienne transfers

Rutgers third-string quarterback Chris Paul-Etienne has decided to transfer, Tom Luicci reports in the Star-Ledger, providing slightly more clarity to who will replace Mike Teel.

Paul-Etienne was a third-year sophomore who saw only limited action this year. Jabu Lovelace was the No. 2 quarterback before suffering a broken leg, and Dom Natale took over as Teel's main understudy after that. Current freshman D.C. Jefferson and heralded incoming freshman Tom Savage will be in the mix for the job next season as well.

Paul-Etienne has not determined a future school yet. Andrew DePaola will serve as the No. 3 quarterback for the Papajohns.com Bowl game against NC State.
