Michigan announces kickoff times, TV plans

Michigan on Wednesday announced kickoff times and TV plans for two of its games this season.

The Wolverines will open the season Sept. 4 against Connecticut in a game that will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET and be televised regionally on ABC and nationally on ESPN2. The opener will be the rededication game for the renovated Michigan Stadium.

Two weeks later, Michigan will host Massachusetts on Sept. 18 in a game that will kick off at noon ET and be televised by the Big Ten Network.

Michigan now knows the kickoff times and TV plans for five games this season. Details for the other games will be decided during the fall.

Sept. 4: Connecticut, 3:30 p.m. ET ABC/ESPN2

Sept. 11: at Notre Dame, 3:30 p.m. ET, NBC

Sept. 18: Massachusetts, noon ET, Big Ten Network

Oct. 16: Iowa (Homecoming), 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC

Oct. 30: at Penn State, 8 p.m. ET, ABC or ESPN or ESPN2
