In what will be the first of many such announcements in the coming days, Indiana wide receiver Andrew Means has been invited to the NFL scouting combine next month in Indianapolis.
Means, who played minor league baseball in the Cincinnati Reds' organization last summer, led Indiana with 450 receiving yards and finished second on the team with 34 receptions last year. He missed one game with a hand injury.
Means, a junior, declared for the draft following the season and could return to baseball with the Reds if football doesn't pan out.
