The 2010 Associated Press All-America teams have been revealed, and 12 players from the Big Ten made the cut. It's a very solid group overall.
Wisconsin LT Gabe Carimi
Wisconsin G John Moffitt
Purdue DE Ryan Kerrigan
Michigan State LB Greg Jones
Illinois RB Mikel Leshoure
Penn State G Stefen Wisniewski
Ohio State G Justin Boren
Wisconsin TE Lance Kendricks
Wisconsin DE J.J. Watt
Wisconsin RB John Clay
Michigan QB Denard Robinson (listed as all-purpose player)
Iowa DE Adrian Clayborn
The AP voters definitely were taught how to Bucky this year, as five Wisconsin players made the cut.
Michigan State's Jones is the only player to make the AP's first team for the second consecutive season, a testament to his incredible career in East Lansing. While I still have issues with Robinson not being classified as a quarterback, it's nice to see him recognized this way.
It was good to see the AP recognize Leshoure's contributions for Illinois. He's the Big Ten's top running back this season.
Also, five Nebraska players made the All-America teams, including three juniors: cornerback Prince Amukamara, defensive tackle Jared Crick and linebacker Lavonte David.
