Good news this afternoon as Minnesota announced coach Jerry Kill has been released from the hospital and is resting at home.
Kill suffered a seizure on the sideline late in last Saturday's game against New Mexico State.
As for when Minnesota can expect its coach back to work?
"He has no restrictions and is free to return to work when he feels up to it," team doctor Pat Smith said.
Kill probably felt up to it Sunday, and I'd be somewhat surprised if he's not back for Saturday's game against Miami (Ohio), either in the press box or on the sideline. His top assistants have said the coach will return for the Miami game, and now that the decision is in Kill's hands, it seems like a very strong possibility.
Kill's presence should provide a nice boost for Minnesota as it searches for its first win of the season.
Saturday's forecast in Minneapolis calls for temperatures in the low to mid-60s, which should benefit Kill after the hot weather in Week 2.
