Wisconsin at No. 4 in first Harris Poll

The initial BCS standings will be revealed a week from today, but the first Harris Interactive Poll of 2011 is out.

The Harris Poll, as you know, is one of three components that determine the BCS standings, along with the coaches' poll and the computer rankings.

Wisconsin appeared at No. 4 in the first Harris Poll, receiving one first-place vote, the exact position the Badgers find themselves in with the coaches' poll. Michigan is ranked No. 10 in the Harris Poll, followed by Nebraska at No. 13, Illinois at No. 14 and Michigan State at No. 22. Penn State is among the teams receiving votes.
