Our top 25 ballots for this week

Brian and I don't vote in the AP poll, the coaches' poll (blasphemy!) or even the Harris poll. We're just not that important.

But we do take part every week in the ESPN.com power rankings. Although we're focused on the Big Ten every day of the year, we do also pay attention to what's happening around the country.

Here are our ballots for this week:

Great minds think alike, and our top 10s are nearly identical. The only difference: Brian has Alabama at No. 2, while Oklahoma impressed me enough to move ahead of the Tide. Brian has Michigan one spot higher than I do, and he has clearly forsaken his Big East roots by ranking West Virginia two spots lower than I have the 'eers. He has Nebraska significantly higher than I do. While the Huskers' comeback impressed me, the team's defensive performance against Ohio State's No. 1 quarterback certainly did not. Brian is clearly not a fan of Baylor and RG3, as the Bears don't make his top 25, while they're No. 21 in mine. I like Arizona State and Virginia Tech a bit more than he does, while he's higher on South Carolina than I am.

Now it's time for your favorite activity. Tell us how dumb we are. Fire away!
