A new ballgame: Utah 25, Michigan 23

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- This is getting very interesting, thanks to Utah's special teams, lack of discipline and Michigan's opportunistic defense.

Michigan is back in the game after blocking a punt and scoring on a beautiful 33-yard touchdown pass from Steven Threet to Junior Hemmingway. Threet is gaining confidence and appears to be stabilizing a shaky spread offense. After booing the Wolverines at several points in the third quarter, the crowd is back into this one in a big way.

But the story is the defense, especially a veteran line causing tons of havoc. The front four is all over Brian Johnson, who has become a turnover machine after a near-flawless first half. If Michigan wins this game, the defense will have to be the initiator.
