All hail "Moneyball."
Wisconsin running back Montee Ball is the new Big Ten single-season record holder for touchdowns after he just reached the end zone for the third time today against Minnesota. The record-breaker was a 3-yard plunge to give him 27 touchdowns on the season.
Ball has two more regular-season games, plus a potential Big Ten title game and a bowl, to keep piling on his statistics. He has 166 yards rushing already today.
Congratulations to Ball on a special season and an impressive record.
