Evaluating the B1G NFL prospects in bowls

ESPN.com NFL draft analyst Steve Muench has an interesting story looking at the top prospects for each of the Big Ten bowl teams. Well, make that eight of the 10 league bowl teams, as Muench surmises that neither Northwestern nor Purdue has a "prospect with a draftable grade."

He lists the top prospects from each team in this order as far as draft grade:

Iowa: OT Riley Reiff

Illinois: DE Whitney Mercilus

Penn State: DT Devon Still

Michigan State: DT Jerel Worthy

Nebraska: CB Alfonzo Dennard

Ohio State: OT Mike Adams

Wisconsin: WR Nick Toon

Michigan: DT Mike Martin

Muench sees Reiff and potentially Dennard and Adams as first-rounders, with Mercilus, Still and Worthy as possible second-rounders. He says Toon could go in the late second round, while Martin is more of a middle-round selection.

He also projects which NFL team would be the best fit for each player. For the complete story, click here.
