Some good news to report as Minnesota coach Jerry Kill has been released from the hospital after suffering a seizure late Saturday afternoon.
Kill's seizure wasn't as severe as the one he had last September on the sideline at the end of a game. He had to be hospitalized several days but returned to the team the following week. Kill, 51, was taken to the hospital as a precaution Saturday and was reported to be in good condition by Saturday night.
Gophers defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys told local reporters he wouldn't be surprised if Kill returns to work later Sunday. Claeys said if the seizure hadn't taken place in public, Kill might have avoided a trip to the hospital. Kill has had seizures for several years and typically makes a quick recovery.
