Previewing the 3:30 p.m. Big Ten games

Ohio State (10-0, 6-0 Big Ten) at Wisconsin (7-3, 4-2): This looks like the biggest game of the day in the league. Adam Rittenberg is at Camp Randall Stadium and will have some live pregame coverage coming up soon.

Minnesota (6-4, 2-4) at No. 14 Nebraska (8-2, 5-1): The Huskers are two wins away from clinching a spot in the Big Ten title game. They are heavy favorites today on senior day against the Gophers, who secured bowl eligibility last week. Will Rex Burkhead play? He practiced some this week and will be a game-time decision. Nebraska hasn't needed him to post the best offensive numbers in the league. Minnesota has some pretty good speed on defense, but could get worn out up front by the relentless running game led by Ameer Abdullah and Taylor Martinez. On the flip side, the Gophers are dealing with a lot of injuries on offense, particularly up front and at receiver.

Purdue (4-6, 1-5) at Illinois (2-8, 0-6): Why watch a game featuring two teams with a combined 1-11 Big Ten record? Well, Purdue can still get back to a bowl game if it wins here and next week against rival Indiana. Danny Hope is fighting for his job. It's senior day for Illinois, which hasn't won its final home game since 2007. Tim Beckman is desperately trying to get some momentum for his program, and this might be the best shot. Don't expect a big crowd for this one, though.
