How we voted in ESPN.com's Top 25

Adam and I don't vote in the Associated Press poll and we haven't yet been asked to sit on the playoff selection committee next year. But we do have a say in ESPN.com's weekly national power rankings, and here's how we voted after Week 1:

We're both of a similar mind when it comes to ranking the Big Ten teams this week. Ohio State is only No. 4 in our rankings, partly due to Clemson's rise and also because of the Buckeyes' less-than-stellar final three quarters against Buffalo. Michigan is about the same in both our polls, while I'm a little higher on Northwestern and Adam is slightly more favorable toward Wisconsin. Nebraska drops out of our Top 25s this week. Even though the Cornhuskers won, they did so in highly unimpressive fashion against Wyoming at home. They have a chance to rebound but have to perform better than that, particularly in Week 3 vs. UCLA. I considered Penn State this week but ultimately had the Nittany Lions just on the outer fringe of my rankings.
