Not surprisingly, Ohio State holds steady at No. 4 in both polls. Although the Buckeyes crushed Penn State, Alabama and Florida State also won big, and Oregon recorded a quality win against UCLA. Expect Ohio State to be a somewhat distant fourth in the latest BCS standings.

Michigan State enters both polls after improving to 4-0 in Big Ten play with an easy win at Illinois. Michigan moves up a spot in the AP and two spots in the coaches' without playing, and Wisconsin also moves up a spot in the coaches' despite no game Saturday. We still feel strongly that Wisconsin is the Big Ten's second-best team and should be in the top-20.

It will be interesting to see how high the winner of this week's Michigan-Michigan State game rises in the rankings.

Nebraska falls out of both polls after its loss to Minnesota, which is receiving votes for the first time in several years. Iowa also received a vote from one of the coaches.
