Former Gophers wideout lands at K-State

Missed this one for today's lunch links, but wanted to let you know that former Minnesota wide receiver Brodrick Smith will transfer to Kansas State.

This isn't surprising at all, considering Smith left Minnesota to spend more time with his son back in Kansas. Also, Smith's father played wide receiver at Kansas State.

The one holdup could be a scholarship with the Wildcats, and Smith might need to pay his own way for a semester. He might end up living with former Oregon quarterback Chris Harper, who also plans to transfer to K-State.
