Hamilton, Soderberg set to play

BOSTON -- As expected, defenseman Dougie Hamilton and forward Carl Soderberg will be in the lineup Thursday night against the Nashville Predators at TD Garden.

“They’re good to go,” said Bruins coach Claude Julien after the team’s morning skate.

Hamilton has missed 10 games with a lower-body injury suffered on Dec. 8 at Toronto. Soderberg missed two games with concussion-like symptoms, but he said after Wednesday’s practice that it was not a concussion.

With Hamilton back in the lineup, fellow defenseman Kevan Miller will be a healthy scratch, according to Julien.

During the morning skate, Soderberg was playing with Ryan Spooner and Matt Fraser.

“There’s a guy there who’s maybe, I don’t know how to qualify him, he’s not a rookie, he’s not a young player, to me he’s a veteran -- he’s played in the [Swedish] Elite League for a long time. When he’s on that line there’s a presence there. There’s size, there’s speed, and he’s not afraid to go in those dirty areas. It makes a difference for that line so hopefully that happens again tonight.”
