BOSTON -- The Philadelphia Flyers will start Sergei Bobrovsky in goal for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Boston Bruins on Friday night at TD Garden.
"Bob will start in net for us tonight," Flyers head coach Peter Laviolette revealed before the game. "Brian [Boucher] had come in and played really well, he came in and pinch hit for Bob early on and played really well for us. But we find ourselves down three here and Bob has come off the bench a couple of times [this series] and looked good. We are getting him back in there tonight."
Boucher had started the three previous games, but was pulled three times, including once due to a hand injury.
Laviolette declined to comment when asked whether veteran defenseman Chris Pronger (undisclosed injury) would play in Game 4.
