BOSTON -- Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron (mild concussion) was at TD Garden on Tuesday morning but did not practice with the team.
Bruins coach Claude Julien said on Sunday that he did not want to give a daily update on Bergeron, who suffered the injury in the third period of Game 4 against the Philadelphia Flyers last Friday, but with the assistant captain in the building on Tuesday, the coach shared a bit of good news.
“He’s doing better,” Julien said. “He’s here and he’s doing better. He’s dealing with the concussion symptoms and the protocol. He’s here today because he’s feeling better. If anything, we’re getting some positive feedback from him.”
This is Bergeron’s third concussion of his career.
