The Boston Bruins have recalled forward Alexander Khokhlachev from Providence of the AHL, the team announced Thursday.
He’s in Montreal and will be eligible to play against the Canadiens on Thursday night at Bell Centre.
The 21-year-old centerman has played 12 games for the P-Bruins this season, posting five goals and six assists for 11 points, including a plus-4 rating. He’s played a total of 88 games in Providence and has 28 goals and 43 assists for 71 points.
Khokhlachev made his NHL debut for the Bruins last season against the New Jersey Devils on April 13. This is his first recall to Boston this season.
