VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Less than a year ago, Tyler Seguin knew he would either be the No. 1 or No. 2 overall pick in the NHL Entry Draft.
After the Edmonton Oilers selected Taylor Hall as the top overall choice in Los Angeles last June, the Bruins selected Seguin. Since that point, it’s been an interesting year for the now 19-year-old rookie.
When asked about if he’s had a chance to appreciate the fact that he’s playing in the Stanley Cup in his first season in the NHL, Seguin said he would wait until after the final to reflect on this rookie campaign:
