ESPN’s Jamal Mashburn, for one, doesn’t think it’s a good idea.
“Why put your MVP on him throughout the course of the game? Maybe do it in spurts,” Mashburn said. “Get guys like Jamario Moon, who has length and athleticism as well into the game to guard Rajon Rondo. You’re asking LeBron James to score as well as defend the best player? That’s just asking too way much. The supporting case really has to step up.”
