Kevin Garnett showcased his dance moves at past All-Star games. In his latest ANTA blog, Celtics forward Kevin Garnett offers his perspective on All-Star weekend (while rooting for a tie between his teammates during the 3-point shootout):
What's up ya'll? Long flight to LA for All Star Weekend! Team chartered a plane for us and the [families] of players and coaches. Shout out to Coaches, as they deserve to be the coaches of the Eastern All-Stars. The flight took a while due to hard winds going against us and a delay when we stopped for gas. Long flights are tough because it wastes a full day and I don't move around that much. We arrived about 6 pm, so went home to relax.
Today started with us gong through interviews, press pictures, and TV spots. Then we had a Team Al-Star meeting and more interviews. It's crazy that a day full of little things get tiring.
Rookies and Sophs played [Friday] and Coach Frank was the head coach of the Sophs. The other assistant coaches were his assistants and his team was small with not many bigs. They lost by a couple, so we need to avenge their lost. No defense was played.
We got an early practice in the a.m., then a meeting, more interviews and then the 3pt contest. I'm rooting for a 1st place tie between Ray and P2. Good luck boys!
It's crazy how this is my 14th All Star game, as where did time go? Excited to play on Sunday, so BRING IT!
