From the Associated Press in Minnesota:
The Boston Celtics scratched point guard Rajon Rondo from the game against Minnesota on Sunday because of a strained right pinkie finger.
Celtics coach Doc Rivers says the injury has bothered him for much of the season. Rondo was hit on the hand in practice on Saturday to aggravate it. He is day to day and it is unclear if he will be ready to play on Monday against Indiana.
Delonte West was put in the starting lineup.
Minnesota's Kevin Love (strained left groin) was also a scratch for the Timberwolves.
