The lockout wiped out Summer Forecast, so we get the first (and hopefully only) Winter Forecast as the 2011-12 season tips off. ESPN.com consulted with 115 of its best basketball minds and had us vote on how many wins each team would finish with in a condensed 66-game season.
The Celtics finished with an average record of 41-25, which ranked them third in the Eastern Conference just ahead of the Knicks team that beat them in Sunday's Christmas Day opener.
