C'S FINE WITHOUT RONDO THIS SEASON
This season, Boston's numbers have been better without Rondo. The Celtics have played 744 minutes without Rondo this season and efficiency measures (points per 100 possessions) have been slightly better both offensively and defensively in that category without him.
Clearly, losing an All-Star point guard is not a positive for Boston, but the numbers suggest they have been able to weather short bursts without him. The question is whether Boston can sustain those numbers with Rondo set to miss the final 38 regular-season games and the playoffs this season.
