Lee departs with knee sprain

BOSTON -- Boston Celtics guard Courtney Lee suffered a left knee sprain in the second half of Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies and will not return, according to the team.

The Celtics said Lee underwent X-rays, which were negative. He hobbled off with team physician Brian McKeon with 6:49 remaining in the game.

Through 15 games, Lee was averaging 8.1 points on 51.5 percent shooting over 17.4 minutes per game.
