BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics, beset by injuries, are going with what coach Brad Stevens termed a "unique" look during Wednesday's visit from the Atlanta Hawks.
The Celtics will start Rajon Rondo, Jerryd Bayless, Jeff Green, Brandon Bass and Kris Humphries.
Gerald Wallace, a starter in recent games for injured Avery Bradley, shuffles to a reserve role because short-handed Boston plans to utilize him as a reserve forward.
The Celtics are without Bradley (ankle), Jared Sullinger (concussion), Vitor Faverani (knee) and Kelly Olynyk (toe). Add in the excused Keith Bogans and Boston has only nine available bodies for Wednesday's game.
Sullinger and Olynyk could be back as early as Saturday's visit from the Indiana Pacers, while Bradley's return remains uncertain. Faverani will undergo another round of testing on his ailing knee.
