The Celtics previously observed a moment of silence in honor of Lt. Edward J. Walsh and firefighter Michael R. Kennedy before Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Coaches are also wearing special Boston Fire Department patches on the bench.

"I think it’s for a good cause, pay homage and respects to people who risk their lives to save others," Celtics rookie Kelly Olynyk said of the shirts. "It’s something pretty special."

As for the game itself, the Celtics will stick with their recent starting 5 of Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Brandon Bass, and Kris Humphries. Brad Stevens said Saturday he's been thinking a lot about the lineup, but noted Sunday that, "I think about it a lot, but I’m going to leave it what it is."

Stevens continued to gush about Joakim Noah before Sunday's game.

"This team especially is playing with great tenacity on [the defensive] end of the floor. Clearly, [Joakim] Noah is a leader in that," said Stevens. Later he added, "How often do you have a guy that’s even mentioned as an MVP candidate that averages what he averages point-wise? I think that tells you what Noah has meant to this team since [Derrick] Rose has been out and [Luol] Deng got traded. They haven’t skipped a beat."
