Celtics unveil preseason schedule

One day after the release of the NBA's 2015-16 regular-season schedule, the Boston Celtics unveiled their seven-game preseason slate, which starts overseas and finishes with five games against a trio of Atlantic Division rivals.

Here's a look at this year's exhibition schedule (all times Eastern):

• Oct. 6 vs. Olimpia Milano (Milan, Italy), 2:30 p.m.

• Oct. 8 vs. Real Madrid (Madrid, Spain), 3 p.m.

• Oct. 14 at Brooklyn Nets (Barclays Center), 7:30 p.m.

• Oct. 16 at New York Knicks (Madison Square Garden), 7:30 p.m.

• Oct. 19 vs. Brooklyn Nets (TD Garden), 7:30 p.m.

• Oct. 22 vs. New York Knicks (TD Garden), 7:30 p.m.

• Oct. 23 vs. Philadelphia 76ers (Manchester, N.H.), 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the game at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. goes on sale Friday, Aug. 28 at noon. Tickets for Boston's preseason games played at TD Garden will go on sale in September.
