Humphries' tech rescinded

Boston Celtics forward/center Kris Humphries had a technical foul rescinded after league review.

Humphries got tagged with the tech as part of a double technical in the first half of Saturday's loss to the Sacramento Kings when DeMarcus Cousins confronted him on the blocks between free throw attempts. Humphries pushed Cousins away, and it did little to tone things down as the two engaged in a physical battle throughout the game.

While Humphries' tech was rescinded, Cousins' stood, giving him a league-high 13 for the season.

Upon initial league review, Brad Stevens' first career technical foul was upheld. Stevens got tagged with the technical after calmly giving referee Marc Davis a piece of his mind with 35.7 seconds to play in Saturday's loss and was ejected for the first time in his entire coaching career.

Gerald Wallace, who earned a technical and ejection at the same time as Stevens, has a team-high four techs this season. No one besides departed Jordan Crawford (three) has more than a single technical this season (Brandon Bass, Jared Sullinger).
