Boston College senior running back Andre Williams was in Bristol and on “SportsCenter” on Thursday, discussing his Heisman candidacy, his shoulder injury and his passion for writing.
Williams, who leads the nation in rushing yards with 2,102 on the season, told Kris McKendry he’ll be ready by the Eagles’ bowl game.
“It’s something that just takes time, just needs rest,” Williams said of his injury. “I’ll be ready for the bowl game.”
As for his Heisman candidacy? Williams says he’s just honored to be part of the conversation.
He also talked about his interest in poetry and revealed he is writing a book that recognizes “the significant moment sin my life that really shaped how I think about the world.”
