In its countdown to the unveiling of its ESPNHS 100 girls lacrosse list on Nov. 30, ESPNHS' lacrosse editors today name the nation's top 25 midfielders. Locally, Lincoln-Sudbury's Madison Acton has been named the No. 2 overall midfielder.
Acton was named to the Starting 11 of ESPN Boston's inaugural MIAA All-State Team last spring, and is expected to sign a National Letter of Intent with Duke University during early signing period, which begins today.

2. Madison Acton, Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, Mass.), Duke
Acton playing for the US Under-19 team this past summer is the cherry on top of many other accolades the senior has received throughout her four years at Lincoln-Sudbury. Acton has played all four seasons for the Warriors compiling 155 goals and 84 assists. The junior was named US All-American and ESPNHS All-American Honorable Mention.
