Troy Flutie, Jr. QB, Natick
It wasn’t pretty, but the gunslinger tossed the game-winning touchdown pass to Brian Dunlap with 10 seconds left to avoid an upset from Norwood, 14-10. He finished with 110 yards on 9-of-18 passing and 134 yards on nine carries, and both scores for the Red Hawks.
Alex Jette, Sr. ATH, North Attleborough
Another big night for “X-18” in the Big Red’s upset of BC High, rushing for 128 yards and a score, and adding 53 yards receiving.
Marcus Odiah, Sr. RB, Burlington
Ran for three scores in a 26-14 win over Arlington, giving him six rushing touchdowns on the season.
Nick Peabody, Sr. QB, Barnstable
Had a nearly flawless night in the Red Raiders’ 55-14 thrashing of Dennis-Yarmouth, throwing for 350 yards on 15-of-18 passing and adding 65 yards on the ground, totaling four scores.

Broke the 100-yard barrier for the second straight week, going for 112 yards on 17 carries in a 22-0 win over Falmouth.
Jonathan Thomas, Jr. RB, St. John’s Prep
Carried 26 times for 160 yards and two scores in the Eagles’ 31-7 win over Central Catholic.
Quron Wright, Sr. RB, Holy Name
Carried five times for 159 yards and three scores in the Naps’ 35-7 win over Westborough, giving him 7 rushing TD and 445 yards rushing so far in 2012.
ON THE RISE
Garrett Carlos, Sr. RB, Somerset-Berkley
The Blue Raiders romped over Seekonk with the bruising back rushing for 240 yards on 21 carries and four touchdowns.
Gilly De Souza, Sr. ATH, Everett
Called into quarterbacking duty again, De Souza got the job done, completing just six passes but for 167 yards and four scores, as the Tide beat Springfield Central 33-14.
David Harrison, Sr. WR, Weymouth
Simply stated, Harrison did a little bit of everything for the Wildcats in their victory over Wellesley. The wideout hauled in two touchdown catches, but also threw for one on an option play. On defense, the two-way athlete also pocketed an interception.
Will Heikkinen, Sr. WR, Andover
The Golden Warriors’ big target collected 204 receiving yards in Andover’s 43-7 win over Gloucester with 11 catches, including a 76-yard touchdown.
Kiivone Howard, Jr. RB, Foxborough
The Warriors back kept up his torrid pace with 172 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a thrashing of East Providence (R.I.) on Friday.
Dylan Morris, Sr. WR, Barnstable
Hauled in five passes for 207 yards and two scores, including a 98-yard TD reception, in the Red Raiders' 55-14 win over Dennis-Yarmouth.
Mike Panepinto, Jr. RB, Needham
The slashing back finshed just a shade under rushing for 100 yards (99) for the second straight week, but Panepinto again paid dividends for the Rockets, tallying all three touchdowns in their 21-14 win over Top 25 opponent Mansfield.
Tom Sapienza, Sr. QB, Whitman-Hanson
The Panthers signal-called threw for 292 yards and run another 106 in a wild 39-24 win over Marshfield.
Andrew Smiley, Jr. QB, St. John’s (Shrewsbury)
Totaled 342 yards and four total touchdowns in the Pioneers’ 35-14 win over Longmeadow. Through the first two varsity starts of his career, the 6-foot-3 Smiley has 696 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns.
Cody Williams, Jr. QB, Springfield Central
Won over some Everett fans on Friday in the Golden Eagles’ 33-14 loss to the Crimson Tide, completing 20 of 31 passes for 227 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
