Woburn takes over top spot in girls' hockey

For the third time in our poll's history, Woburn takes the top spot in our statewide MIAA girls' hockey Top 25 poll.

It's been a tumultuous season thus far for our top-ranked teams, with plenty of upsets in the early going.

Familiar territory: Woburn has held the No. 1 billing in our poll, at times, in each of the last two seasons, most recently, with the Tanners ending the regular season last year in the poll position.

Duxbury maintained its ranking at No. 2, while St. Mary's of Lynn slid into third, with an unbeaten start.

Former No. 1, Arlington Catholic, fell to No. 6.
